i cannot get this key to stay in!! it keeps backing out like this! i have tightened the two bolts and it still backs out! any suggestions??

Drill it , tap it and set screw it...

Bigger key...

Super Glue...

May work... Clean it up good before hand....
drill and tap would be the best...
Never seen one that backs out like that...
Have you tried a new Key???

Again just ideas...

Tack weld a stop at the end of the slot so it can't slide out? Just make sure it doesn't obstruct the shaft sliding out. Just a thought. One little weld at the end of the slot would make it so it wouldn't come out.
