Post subject: | PROP PITCH QUESTION |
I was looking at getting a different prop for my 35 mud buddy. I use it alot lately in deep water at least this time of year and was wondering if they make a prop desingned more for just top end speed then in the mud if so who makes it and what pitch do I go with. The last prop I put on was just the big blade tiger prop from Mud Buddy just said what I had for a shaft and they sent me a new prop when I got it though it didint have near the cuppping on it like my old big blade almost flat right out to the tip. Any advice is much appreciated |

Baggy's Propellor in Houma is probably one of the best around! |

I had Coastal Propeller in Bridge City, Tx repitch mine. Most prop shops should be able to do this. |

ever try the three blade? it might be what you are looking for for deep water runs. i have a buddy who has a test three blade for the PD and he picked up about 1-2 mph with it over the stock. Just didn't work that well in the veg. |

He was testing it for them. He has had it for about a year now. PD wasn't happy with the performance in the mud and veg, and never built one for production. I am sure there are more, but not many for sure. |
