 Needing help
I got a 9" prop on my 6.5 Copperhead. Don't know for sure but I think it's a 9x7. Well I had issues with it slipping at about 7mph. Had Baggy's add more cup. It's still slipping. And actually lost speed. I can feel it grabbing water just above idle, but then it just lets go. At full throttle, I can feel it trying to bite the water but then lets go, over and over. It's supposed to be a surface piercing prop, but when I trim up, it doesn't do anything and actually loses speed. Any ideas what is going on? Could the hull be messing it up? I'm drafting about 6" at rest. When underway, it seems to stay the same.
