Have any of you seen this?
Had a problem with the pto constant drive switch and then it just went out one day. The momentary button still worked until today. I just put a bungi cord around it to get by. That went out. I orderd a new switch already should have it tomorrow, but have any of you seen this issue. I have traced and wiggled wires and what not and I do not see any issues with them.

If both switches arent working it might be the clutch.

The clutch was working before, the constand pull out switch wouldn't work, but the momentary would. I do not think it is the clutch. Anyone have issues with their switch.

Joe M,
What was wrong with the wires going into the clutch? My wiring harness wires have wiggled lose, but I have never noticed anything with the clutch I guess. What should I look for.

What should I look for and how should I investigate it? I want to be able to solve this issue very quickly.

Inspect the wires that go into the clutch very close, right at the point where they go into it. Thats where my problem originated.

After 30 minutes on the phone with brian from prodrive we think we found the issue of needing a new clutch like you guys had said. Somewhere from the two wire plug to where it goes into the clutch there is a short. Has to be because that wire is getting hot as f$ck

Clutch is shorted out. I bet when its taken apart its outer plastic protective covering is melted and wires are broken.

go ahead and replace the switch too...when the clutch shorted out, it probably fried the switch.
