Anybody have them rebuild their gatortail prop. How did they perform in reverse and open water. I had them rebuild two for me and I won't be able to test before I go on the last trip of the season. They don't look like a stock gt wheel, resemble more of a gd prop. I don't want to put the boat in the water and it not perform as it should. |

They rebuild my gd prop all the time and always do a great job. Those guys really got it down. I hope it works out for you. |

Do they use a stainless alloy or straight stainless? |

I'm not sure what they use but they use to do my gd props and they lasted quite a while. I'm confident in their quality of work, just not sure about the cup they put on my gt prop. |

Ya if you ever buy a brand new one you can take it to them and they can save the pattern and cup on there computer. Then take your old prop back to stock anytime |

Didn't know that. But they told me they knew what it was and he wrote gatortail on the ticket. But it may be fine. I'll guess I'll just have to wait and see |

Buddy paid Baumann over 200 for 3 blade GD prop rework and got back a paperweight.... It had worn to the point of increased rpm - but was not in that bad a shape.... Should have been a good candidate for adding blade back and rework - but actually came back lighter than when it was sent in - was weighed before and after on an accurate scale.... Musta been a bad day for em and that computer.... Never send them another MM prop myself - although they have done great work on my outboard props.... |

I've sent them 3 props (2-11' & 1- 12"), and they all worked out just fine. |
