need advise on prop selection....

 need advise on prop selection....I'm building a 9hp longtail for shallow river running. i dont need speed at all just torque to push over rocks and thru rapids. i see 7x6 and 8x4s from most prop manufacturers. i have a 9x3 thats worn down to a 7 1/4x3. think that would be a option, building it back to a 7 1/2"x3? all input would be appreciated. Thanks...

Re: need advise on prop selection.... Gear reduction and a bigger prop if you aint too worried about speed.
