Mostly thats correct.... All standard GDSDs wear the 3 blade now....

But the new 23 GDSD has a different ratio to allow it to spin
the big 3 blade.... The older models had a different ratio with
a smaller diameter 2 blade prop....

On the exact same GD Skiff the new model with 3 blade was
about 2 mph faster than the older and smaller 2 blade model
and had better mud performance too.... There is no "down side"
to this model transition....

FYI....

The exception is the 23 GDSD "Refuge Model" w/ 9" Prop --- it would be
a few mph slower but legal in the HP and Prop size limited Refuges and
turns a 1 to 1 ratio....

When model improvements are developed they are also available
for prior year models too....

not sayin anything negative towards godevil but thats prolly mostly due to the fact that not a lot has changed.
