 Grab Bar Trim on PD
I have exhausted the search button and havent found what i need. I am in the process of having a new boat built and i want to put a second trim on the grab bar. Motor is a 2011 36 PD hydro trim and manual rev. My question is on the wiring of the second switch. I have a switch from PD, is it as simple as splicing into the existing trim wiring or do i need to put a relay in??? if possible i want to be able to use both switches. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: Grab Bar Trim on PD
ide say you could be able to use both. bass boats do it all the time and all outboards now have a trim switch on the cowl. im not sure of the system on a pd but it seems like another rocker switch wired in with the original one would be all thats needed.

Get yourself a mudbuddy and you won't have to worry about adding switches...

Re: Grab Bar Trim on PD
if you dont put some kind of toggle switch in between both the switches or a relay setup you will burn the switches up and your trim is going to go very slow.
