 Lower Unit
I have a 35 GTR and noticed a metal to metal noise in my lower unit. I checked my lower unit grease and there was barely any grease. I changed it about 15 hours previous. Since then, i have noticed a spot where the lower unit has a spot that grease is coming out. I assume that this is a bad seal? So i have been putting grease in it before very run. Has anyone has this problem? Is it urgent to fix? And should I replace it before I run again? THANKS!

 Re: Lower Unit
If grease is coming out of either end of the lower unit (prop end or bell housing end) it needs to have the seals replaced. If you're hearing grinding noise i would definately not use it until you have the issue resolved. Bring it to GT...It only takes 10 mins. to do the job.
