Post Longtail Prop Questions ?
Think Ill get anymore outta my motor now lol? This is off my 29 Kawi Long Tail. Bought the motor with this worn prop on it and used it all last season like it was. Ran it on a 15x(36) with 2 guys a dog and couple doz deeks I could hop up on plane at about 15-18 mph but I throw a 3rd guy in and it would just push at like 12 mph lol....figured it was all this motor had but I was getting back into some skinny skinny so I didnt mind......but now im thinking I should see a huge improvement.

It was nuts getting this prop off. Im thinking I should pick up some speed and maybe I will be able to plane out with 3 guys....

What you guys think?

man i have a 16 hp on a 1436 and get 19 mph by myself that monster should fly if ya put wings on it lol but a wheel makes a big difference i upgraded from a 9 to the 16 i used the 9 wheel on the 16 it was a 8x4 and i was making 16 then i upgraded to a hopkins 8 3/4 x 5 and now im getting the 19 mph so the comparison in those pics you should see a big difference with that new wheel you def should be in the 20s light boat i think good luck let us know how it does
