| Post subject: | Pro Drive prop help |
I read that a pro drive prop is supposed to be 12-1/4", but it didn't say if that was for a 27hp, 32hp, or 36hp. I have a 27 and the prop measures 11-3/4". Do I need a new prop, and if so, 2 blade or 3 blade? I don't know anyone with a 3 blade to give me feedback. KP said the 3 blade would bog me down more with a load, which is the problem I need to address. |

Here are the prop sizes: Prop Measurements Prop Dia. Average Pitch Progressive Average at Cup 36 Prop 12-3/8" 10" 7 to 13 32-1/2" 32/27 Prop 12-1/4" 10-1/2" 7 to 13 28-3/4" 27 (3 Blade) 11-1/2" 10-1/8" 8 to 12 26-1/2" BUT, I would do whatever KP tells you to do. Tell him what you have, what you run in, and what you want to accomplish and then do what he says... |
