I have a 35 GTR w/ the new reverse system. It is 5 months old w/ 300 hrs. I had to replace the brake pads on the reverse b/c the were wore almost all the way down. I'm hoping this is due to user error as my dad admitted to not squeezing the lever all the way in order to reverse easy. Has anyone had the same problem with pad wear or can I write this off as user error? |

Mike the brake on the gt ain't supposed to slip!! If it's not slipping then it can't ware down!! It will have a little but minimal ware!! You can't compare that reverse brake to a car brake cause car brakes slip which cause ware !! I got 250 on the new reverse have no problems yet!! |

I figured the wear was caused by allowing it to slip - no fault of the machine. On another note, called GT and told em I was in a bind for the pads, and they showed up in the mail the next day. Pretty good service I'd say! |
