Hopkins makes a 12x13 cleaver that is a good fit, usually. Sometimes they perform well, sometimes they don't. I picked up 1.5 mph and brought my Rpms down to somewhere just above the rev limiter on my CDI motor. Different people have had other experiences. U can run this prop deeper in the water than the original wheel. Haven't had a chance to run it through lillies, but other people like it's performance.

I tried a 12x14 hopkins and it lost 1-2 mph seemed like I needed to run it deeper in the water than stock prop, when trimed out threw hell of a rooster tail but lost speed. I would like to try a 12x13 hopkins and I have a buddy running a 3 blade pd prop that had a little extra cup put in, need to run it on mine, but his is a stock 36 cdi and getting 30 mph on a 1856 borel boat.

I think it was one they came out with but didn't release it to the public, The boat he bought was Borels personal boat and he is a pd dealer. Don't know for sure but I think Borel got it to try out and was on the boat when he bought it.

I don't run any gumbo mud and would love to have a deep water fishing prop. Was hoping to see a smooth running 3-blade but it didn't happen.

Post subject:  Re: stage 1 prodrive prop?

The 3 blade bfenn is talking about was EXACTLY like my GDSD 3 blade prop. The boat was a Bosco built boat, not a Borel.

I thought someone said in the past the GD made the PD props. Or did in the past.

Post subject:  Re: stage 1 prodrive prop?

We had the boats side by side at the boat launch and those props were identical. That boat ran very good with that prop, but for some reason he couldn't get up as quick as us. The guy even commented on that. We even had more gear and people than them.

I have no idea who made it. I just know he got it from KP to test on his PD.
