 water in lower unit
I just had the seals replaced in my 2006 32 pd. I have had it out for a total of 1 hour and just drained almost a cup of water out of my lower unit. The LU is a old style and only uses 2 seals. I don't realy want to take it back to the guy that did it so how do the seals go in. I work in the marine industry and have the tools and shop to do it in just dont want to take out old seals and put back in the same way and a the same prob since I believe they were put in wrong. The LU lube looks good and think that was done rite. This doesnt look rite and just wonderin on others opinion and what proper way of install looks like. thanx

 Re: water in lower unit
The shaft is probably worn. If you only have one hour on the new seals, they should not be leaking again unless you have another issue. May be time to upgrade to the new...
Post pics of what you don't think looks right.
It's not that hard to replace them yourself. Hardest part is getting the prop off and getting the LU off the frame. Rest of it is not all that bad. I think PD will give you instructions with your new seals.
