Post subject: | trouble finding a prop |
Hey guys I've about finished my longtail build and am kinda in a rut. I've got it mostly built but am having an issue finding a prop. The motor is a 16hp clone and im wondering what size of prop I will need... I was thinking a 9x3 but that may be too much in my case if the motor turns out to be a little under powered... So, if I do need a 9x3 I cant find anywhere to get them besides GD.... which is a problem... any ideas? other Prop size suggestions? Thanks for the help! ![]() |

All the 16 hp GD 's are v-twin, so they have a little more torque. A 8x4 may be a good choice. |

I would go with an 8x6 Hill prop. Have one on my 13 Van and love it, good speeds and torque. Good to see another Sunflower Stater on here. |
