I saw a guy at the launch with a remote steer 1760 Prodrive boat & 36hp motor. He had a 3 blade prop on it so I asked him what it was because to my knowledge, there is not a 3 blade prop for the 36. He said it was the 3 blade for the 27hp motors. He told me that it runs smoother, picked up over 200 rpm's (maybe more) and a couple mph. He also said it was due to the fact his boat was so wide and heavy and that is why it helped.

Has anyone else ever heard of this? It didn't seem right to me. The blade looked a little small but I didn't get much time to check it out. My first thought was if he's doing better with that prop, is something else wrong with his setup. Now this could be something that a lot of people are trying with good results and I just haven't heard about it.

they were working on a three blade but not ready i went to a hopkins like a lot had to move some wieght around to get the spped back but it is a hoss in the mud

i beleive they have the 3 blade for the 36 now
