measured the width on the widest part of my 35 GDSD 3 blade prop and its right under 3 1/4", if im not mistaken a new one measures at 3 1/2". Noticed performance drop from carrying three guys guns 3 dozen decoys at 26.8 mph in deep water to only 25.4 with me and another guy with a small ice chest in the same conditions. what yall think?

Yes, you need a new one. The gdsd performance is very sensitive on prop wear. On my previous boat, I went through three of the gd 3 blade props within 100 hours. One of them went quick because of sand where I flounder gig. Do not have it reworked, just replace it. The prop would also try to lift out of the water more than normal when the prop would start to wear and I'd lose about 2mph.

I need a new one too. SammyC had a 3 blade that he sent me that was used and he took it to gd. They put the cup back in it and it looks better than what I'm running. Mine is pretty banged up with barely any cup on the tips. I'm anxious to see how it does. Probably get a new one at the end of season though. Wht not get them rebuilt? Don't last?

im going to try and order on this week from go devil and keep the other one as a spare just in case. its amazing what a 1/4 on an inch will do to performance.
