Post Prop removal help
So how would you go about removing a prop off a lower unit that is busted up inside? The gears are loose inside and laying in there so I can't lock up the motor or shaft on the upper side or on the motor. I removed the oil fill hole to see if I can jam something in the gears but that didn't work. I thought about trying to double nut the end and use that for leverage but there's not enough room. The prop has antiseize on it so it shouldn't take that much to get it started but I need to get the initial force on it to unthread it from the shaft. Anybody have any ideas? The prop is almost brand new and I need to get it off this week so I can get a new lower unit on and with a lot of luck be back on the water by Friday night.

We just lowered mine down on a chair with a center block hook a socket up to it and hit it with a rubber mallet and it came loose pretty quick and easy. Just a suggestion
