Mount it and run it for awhile and see if it will work for you. If not then cut it down. Just my opinion. Duckdon |

Just to be clear - 17' means 17 feet & 17" means 17 inches.... So your hull has a 17 inch transom height ? In a PM - I asked you - if your hull were level then you adjusted your GDSD till the lower fins were level - then looked from the rear down those lower fins back toward the transom - where are they aligned in regard to the transom and hull bottom ??? |

1" only matters with diks and props. Run it like it is before you risk messing it up. |
