 Adding auto reverse Just got to camp to do some work. Rode with buddy of mine and he had the auto power reverse. F'n sweet. Really helped when we took a short cut and got tied up in lillies. Mine has manual reverse. Can the auto be added to my existing 07' rig? If so, how much to add?

Re: Adding auto reverse Damn. Doesn't seem so sweet now. Hell the manuall reverse option is $475. I figure it would be the difference, add the hydraulic lines and the gear. But what do I know, I'm the one asking.

I wish they would take another look at it and come down some on the price. If they did I believe the majority that does not have auto reverse would go ahead and do it. It seems they would bring a windfall with all the units out there right now that don't have it.

Re: Adding auto reverse That 475 buck manual reverse mech can be thrown on the shelf. It does not work with the hydro reverse. You have to change the whole assembly. Then add the price of pump and ram. Machined parts for the gearing, new switch / wiring and so on. Its actually more then you think.
All said and done with instalation and tax you are looking at 1800 bucks. Throw in my cost of the original ratchet reverse and I spent 2300 bucks total. If you buy a new rig and are just thinking about it better get it. Its a whole lot cheaper.
It was hard for me to swallow but now with my center onsole set up I wouldnt have it any other way.

Re: Adding auto reverse autogateman has an invention that speeds up the manual reverse tremendously so problem solved and no hydrolic lines to bust
