My hydraulic trim on my prodrive has been getting slower and slower. Well one of my hoses has been leaking and we went ahead and replaced it cause figured it had lost fluid and that was making it slow. Well we put new hose on and added fluid to the right level and the trim is still super slow going down and then when you trim it up when it gets close to being all the way up its barely even moving and then sometimes the motor will quit and let it sit for a minute and it will get back to working again. Just wanted see what y'all thought whether the motor is going out or weak or what. |

Make sure every grease fitting is full of grease. I had my hydro reverse not even work because of lack of grease. |

Its 2008 model along with motor and has 205 hours on it |

Might have condensation in the motor housing Try this: Unbolt pump/motor from bracket....unscrew the 4 retaining screws, remove cap. Clean contacts/motor w/ Corrosion X or similar...blow out w/ compressed air, however you clean it is up to you. |

Make sure you have good, clean & tight connections where the trim wires connect to the battery. Also make the trim wires didn't get pinched somewhere by the transom. Sometimes wires can break inside of the insulation without showing it very much on the outside. |

Yeah the wire are getting warm in one spot about 4 or 5 inches from the trim unit an that is the only place they get hot |
