I went to start my motor today and it turned over a little then cranking stopped because batterie died so I ended up having to get a new batterie and it cranked fine and clutch worked, but my trim did nothing, I hit the trim button and nothing, no clicks or sound of the hydro pump or anything, I took apart handle and nothing seems out of place or blown... Any help would be appreciated because I'm supposed to hunt with it tomorrow and it's the last 2 weeks of the season so it needs to be fixed pronto.. It was fine last week and was bought in september.
And if your one of those go-devil douce bags don't even post about how I wouldn't have this problem if I had a godevil blah blah blah

Mercury trim?

If the fuse isn't blown, make sure everything got hooked back up exactly the way it was before the battery swap. Given that your main cables weren't the only thing hooked to the battery.

Yes it's mercury trim and the cables were the only things connected to the batterie, and could cold weather and rain done anything to it? Ive got a diff way to go hunting tomorrow so I'm just gonna take it to the shop I bought it from on tuesday but thanks for the help, and sorry med didn't direct that at all gd owners just the douche ones that say no trim and clutch is the way to go, but if I'm correct your makin the switch to one of these motors soon, hopefully you won't have problems after five months though

Yeah will be making a change. I had a mb before and got stranded once because I blew a fuse. Didn't have one so I wired around it but I feel your pain. It sucks for something to go wrong especially during season. Carrying it bacl to the dealer sounds like a good choice. You're not supposed to have trouble out of a new motor. Good luck. Maybe db8 will chime in later. If anyone can help its him.

Yeah from what ive read its probably a relay or waters gotten in the fuses or into the circuit breakers or so I hope

Circuit beakers will reset unless they got shorted out. Take the relays apart and dry them out.

Assuming all the wiring is good & no shorts anywhere.

Use a jump wire across the 2 posts on the circuit breaker & see if it'll work. That'll eliminate the breaker from the list of possibilities.

Crack the football & use a jump wire on the switch terminals to eliminate the switch possibility.

I took it to the dealer I bought it from today and he looked it over, after some searching and replacing switch they located the problem, the white power wire had burnt completely in half right next to the engine, he fixed the wire and the trim works great again. I was out the door in less than 30 minutes!
