 20" MOTOR 16" TRANSOM?
I have a 16" transom on my boat (weldbit) and there is a mudbuddy on here that I am intrested in. The motor is a 20" will this work on my boat without mods to the transom? I can have the transom extended if I need to, just wanted to know if this set would work as is. If not what problems would it cause? Thanks for any information you can offer.

not a good idea. The belt housing is possibly going to be below the bottom of the boat, thus causing a big knuckle to drag you down. It would be best to get your transom built up to match the motor.

If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid.

Ive got my Prodrive on a 1542 john boat while my hull gets built. Took it out and trust me you dont want to do that. It can get pretty scary. too much water will rush in the boat and boat will not run good either.
