I have a 36 PD on a 1654 lakesport boat. My question is, will a worn prop cause excessive tiller torque? I noticed last weekend a little more tiller torque than normal i was just curriouse. |

Trimming low causes dat. Trimming high may at times but usually gets "squirrelly" then. |

Too high and the prop will try to walk on the water causing the torque |

Weight in the boat thats not usualy their especially set to one side or the other could cause more torque in the handle then usual |

A worn prop don't create more torque no matter where's its trimmed. I just put on a new one and forgot how much bite it has. |

Offset the motor 1" away from driver if you are that worried about, all these motors have tiller torque |

the motor is offset 1". im not worried about it. it just seemed to be more than usual but it could have been a trimming issue i was just curriouse as to if something may have been wrong this is all still a learning process for me. |
