Have a 36 prodrive stage 3 have two props that are new and new pd prop that added as much cup as possible and a hopkins clever 12X14 with more pitch and cup. Both props are still to high in the rpm range, the pd drive tops out about 4600 and the hopkins will turn 4700-4800 want to bring rpm down for crusing more without screaming motor what props are outthere that gives a good midrange, do not need top end will run 34-35 top end and would prefer to just cruse at 3600-3900 instead of 4200. Also the pd prop works better far crusing and has less slipage, also saw a gator tail prop it look a little different than the pd do they make a blank that can be tapped for a pd. |

Just add pitch to your prop. An inch of pitch added to your prop will lower your rpm's about 200-250. |

prop guy said he can't get any more pitch out of either prop so I will have to get a new prop, I don't think pd makes a higher pitch prop and the hopkins clever just never grabs the water good its very smooth on vibration, speed picked up as I went up in pitch but I reset my overrev box to shutdown at 5100 I don't want the motor to self distruct, my son runs the boat sometimes and he will run it wide a$$ open 24/7 even though I tell him not to. |

Simple solution and the cheapest solution. Lower your RPMs, by twisting the handle less. The lesser you twist, the lower the RPM. Send me a $100 and put the other $100 in a strippers G-string ![]() |

I'm to fat, hairy & ugly to be a stripper, but I'm wearing a G-string that accepts 100's. |
