| Post subject: | Cracked housing |
Just have a question as to how to fix a crack in the shaft housing on a 35 GD SD. The crack is right behind the grease reservoir, where the shaft comes out of the gearbox. The crack is small but leaking a little bit and I was just wondering if it would be safe to weld. |

He called GD and they sent him bracing brackets and he just welded em up. Took him to tries first time it cracked again. They have been holding up since though. |
