 Gatortail 35 belt housing ???????

Post Gatortail 35 belt housing ???????
A buddy is about to buy a 2005 GT35 short transom. He needs a tall transom housing and belt for his hull. I have one that came off my 2007 GT35. Question is will they swap. I know I can call GT in the am but curiosity is killing me. Thanks

Should bolt up. The only differences I know if is the holes drilled for the brake caliper mount and that didn't come until 2011.
