 Mudbuddy vs. Gatortail prop?
I hate to beat a dead horse but I have to ask. I have a Gt-35 and run a GT big blade right now. I love the performance aspects of the prop but it seems to wear fast in my area. My question is will a MB big blade prop be a little more durable in the long run. I'm not concerned on loosing a little performance and its obviously cheaper. Thanks

Yesx2 My boat is an 18 54 tank, what I did was knocked the pitch back a lil bit on the mb wheel, and it does good with the bowfishing load,no need to trim up as much to turn up with a lil less pitch. So far,mb wheel last 2x longer.

Are either of these wheels heat treated?

 Re: Mudbuddy vs. Gatortail prop?
Thanks for the input i guess I am going to try a MB blade out. To someone that has ran both props if i am running 30 by myself no load with a Gt prop what kind of decrease can i expect from a MB prop and hole shot too. Thanks

 Re: Mudbuddy vs. Gatortail prop?
I've run 2 stock MB props and one i gained a MPH and the other i lost a MPH or 2 But they should for the most part run about the same speed or really close to it

 Re: Mudbuddy vs. Gatortail prop?
if you run 30,id expect that youd run 28 wit a mb prop. i found that i lost speed when trimming up on mb prop, which is why i knocked the pitch down,to be able to spin it in the water. takem's motor prolly got enough power to spin it up in the water as is.

 Re: Mudbuddy vs. Gatortail prop?
I tried running one on a Stage 1 engine and actually lost speed.
I'm not certain on longevity..
