What are the benifits of a 32 over a 27in outdrive on a 35 mudbuddy on a 17x54 war eagle boat.

better reach in the mud to dig yourself out. save your money and buy a mud rig if your worried about operating in the mud. a good flat bottom boat will provide way more benefit than a longer outdrive

Got to stay with my war eagle for now just want to make it the best rig I can. I run mostly shallow water and vegitation Need to haul 3 people and duck hunting gear just wondered if a 32 in would help plane quicker and get more speed with load

Longer outdrive works better on really wide boats an provides better reach in the mud. Speed comes from aftermarket engine parts.
