I just got my boat back from the shop and went out for a run the other day. When I pulled up at the launch after running the boat it would not engage in foward. I was in a rush and didn't have to much time to look at it so I just took it home and looked at the fuses. None blown but still didn't work but I noticed I had a lot of oil dripping down the housing around the clutch. I got my motor worked on so I just thought it might have been some oil on my belt. My brother took the boat out sat and he looked it over but couldn't find anything. He said the only way it would engage is if he played with the throt. I looked over the wires fuses but still can't find anything. Thought I saw a loose conection but everything was fine can't seem to figure this one out. Called GT today waiting on them to call me back with some info. Any ideas?

Check the red wire on the back of the key switch, its happened to me and the clutch would engage when you put it in gear and goosed the throttle.

Before you pull the switch pull the 25 amp fuse from the holder because I have fried that fuse twice when pulling the key switch or unhook at the battery

I had a connector get corroded in my battery box, it was for the 2 main trim wires just follow them to the connector. I can't remember the wire colors right now

Brooks I think the oil leak was from when they changed my gasket. I think some oil got on the belt and when I ran the boat the oil got all over the inside of the plastic cover. Then leaked down the back of the boat.
