 Bearing and shaft help
Looking to replace the cheapo china crap bearing that failed this week. Spec is 6203-3/4-12mm.
Also a replacement drive shaft 30"' x 1". Then someone to reduce 3/4" dia both ends & cut the 3/4"-10 threads.
Can anyone on the forum do this type of work ??
Thank you.

 Re: Bearing and shaft help
Call Juan Veloz at JV Outdoors at 786-367-4301, he has a machine shop. He is Mudbuddy and Go Devil Dealer, he has done work for me. I recommend him highly.
Tell him that Pedro Capote referred you to him.

 Re: Bearing and shaft help
I'm Located in Miami Fl.
My goal is to build a custom drive shaft out of 1" - 304 SS. Then select the best bearing combo for the job. My only limitation is the outside bearing diameter 40 MM (Dixie shaft Housing ID) then reduce the shaft ends to ¾ slot - ¾-10 threads on the back.
I want to use the best bearings but I’m lost in the details and just cant figure it out. Dixie uses a (2) 6203-3/4” 12. Then they are held in by a clip.
I want to remove the (2) 6203 front and use a sealed thrust bearing. But not sure if a thrust bearing can take the belt forces and thrust ??
