You have to hold the lever the whole time while in reverse,if you let it go it will release the brake and the reversal stops. As westend posted you have the motor switch in the start position which is neutral, squeeze lever and you are in reverse. While holding the lever with one hand you sueeze the throttle with the other. |

The lever is attached to a brake master cylinder whcih applies hydraulic pressure to 2 calipers that squeeze 2 brake pads against a brake rotor that is on the output shaft of the transmission. When the rotor is held stationary by the hydraulic pressure being exerted by the lever, your GTR's transmission will spin in the reverse direction. Only use Reverse while in neutral. ![]() |

Marsh Bandit, if you get your rig by Saturday come on out to Wallisville with us. I'll let you drive my rig and see how the reverse works if you want. |

The only reason I have seen a GT cover on fire was b/c of the exhaust. |

Brooks, I agree that the reverse unit must be well built and sturdy - cause in the field guys will really let the mud fly on the forward and reverse clutch drops.... I am suprised at how sturdy it is under that loading..... |
