I have a stock 35 hp mb and I noticed today that under power when trying to plain out the trim kept sagging. I haven't had any problems leading up to today, and didn't hit or even work the motor hard today. I don't see any leakage or oil in the water either. With the boat out of the water it trimmed up and down fine with no sagging? Is there a bypass or could a seal be faulty or a electrical problem? Any advice appreciated. |

Had that problem. The housing was cracked on the inside and didn't display any fluid leakage. Good luck with that. Easiest way to fix it is order part with a Merc dealer. Wouldn't bother dicking with MB. Was a waste of time when I called them Sent from my iPad 2000 using Tapatalk HD |

Lun. I can push it down by hand pretty easily. I don't see any fluid on my floor or around the seals though. |

After thinking about my boats performance a little mort I'm thinking it has been doing this for a little while because I have began having problems getting on step and have ordered a new prop to help, but this is making more since now. |

Seals inside cylinder are leaking by allowing in to slowly fall. You won't see any leaks due to its all internal. Not sure how the cylinder is made for MB but they do make seal kits for hydraulic cylinders, depending on wether or not it can be opened up. |

I spoke to MB today and they told me to try to bleed the air first and see if that fixes the prob. I will be trying it tonight, and if it works I'll be updating here. |

Blending the trim unit seems to have worked. I'm not sure how much pressure I should be able to place on the rear of the prop but it seems to be holding fine now. When blending the air out I heard quite a bit released . Mika at mud buddy didn't hesitate on his diagnosis. |
