Post Time for new prop?
36 PD on PD 17 x 48 with 155 hrs on original prop. Most hours are deep water and weeds with the occassional mud running. Prop still has some black paint on it. I have never been able to turn over 4000 rpms but now can turn 4130 in deep water with an average load (~400-500 lbs) with motor trimmed correctly. Neutral rpms at WOT is 4250. Forgot GPS so don't have any speeds. TIme to change prop??

Its definitely suspect but the first step is to pull out a tape measure and verify that you have worn below tolerance.

Generally when they are worn down 1 inch in diameter it's time to replace.
