 24 hp beavertail prop?
I recently bought a 24 hp beavertail, put on my 14/36. The prop is definitely worn out. I went to the beavertail website, it said that I should have a 9x7. Every other manufacturer called for a 9x6 for the 24 hp. Any suggestions on which I should get?

The 9x6 works great for the 24, but i can't compare the two for you having never used the 9x7.

 Re: 24 hp beavertail prop?
I had the 9x7 on mine when I had a 1644 boat. Empty it was fine, but loaded down or in veggies/mud it was kind of a dog. I would replace with the 9x6, but with a boat that small it may run just fine with the 9x7.
I'd say if you plan to carry any load or upgrade to a larger boat the 9x6 is a safe bet.
