Nah I had problems before that. I ran it up on the bank to change oil in it. And lets just say I went a little to fast. ![]() |

My foolishness probably killed it. On Friday when I went out it started making a pretty loud noise. Knocking. Had a few really hard prop strikes over the last few weeks. Figured I chipped a gear tooth. Checked oil and it was silver. Figured fuck it and frogged that night. Got louder and vibrated pretty bad. Changed oil and had water in lower shaft and a thick goopy silver crap come out of knuckle. Changed oil and Ran it a second night and after a few hours it locked up. I was going to sell it after April 1st and honestly I am glad it broke on me and not a new owner. I dont want to be known as an asshole for selling junk. If I cant find a good used lower I will buy a new one. Will get money back when I sell unit and new owner will have a warranty lower unit. |
