Will water proof green grease work on my GT ? Or should I just go buy the amsoil ? The green grease is rated up to 500 degrees , cetrifigal force resistant and load resistant . What do y'all use as an alternative ?

Marine grade grease for sure, But if your like me and don't give a shit, you can use pig lard. When I smell bacon I know its time to change it.

Yes, it will work. Gator Tail does not even recommend amsoil over anything else…..not anymore.

Right, but call them and ask to buy some of their recommended grease, they don't sell it anymore…..they will tell u, it don't matter.

I bought a case of the amsoil syn marine grease straight from amsoil. Had it in two days.

They still send amsoil tube with new motors but recommend loctite viper grease or Schafer grease

No I just recently purchased the motor. It was greased before I bought it. The warranty expired long ago. Iv only out 10 hours on it. Got it after duck season was over .

So if you don't use amsoil it will not void your warranty any more? I've been using it just for the warranty but I know the schafers is way better. So if that's the case anyone wanna buy a half a case of amsoil haha
