Picked up as new 12 1/4 x 10 pitch MB Big Blade Prop at a sale. It looked to have and measured 3/4 hex Mics out at .750. Tried to put it on My MBs prop shaft and it wouldn't fit. Not even close. Would this prop be for another Brand of motor? MB shaft measures .770. Don't want to file down flats on my motor. Would make someone a good deal if it fits something else. |

Sounds like you have a mislabeled Gatortail prop on your hands. |

Finally got it to fit prop shaft, after several hundred passes with a 3/4" allen wrench coated with 80 grit lapping compound. Slides on and off now. Must of been a casting or broaching error from manufacture. Seems to run true and is balanced ok. Will make a good spare. |

Must of retained some Knowledge from working in machine shop 45 years ago. Glad I kept some of the stuff I had in my tool chest. |
