I got a stage 1 one from calen and still running my 85hr stock worn out prop. Calen said stock gt prop. But since I got some extra power I think I need something with a little more bite. What about Hopkins or an LA tuned prop? |

Stock prop is best, you're not going to find a better one for stage 1 |

I was convinced enough to try a three blade but hoyt said call back in a month when they get some more in. Guess I'll just get a stock 2 blade then maybe this fall experiment with the 3 |

Not trying to jack your thread but me and another guy I know lost speed with the new non finished 2 blade GT prop. I can run 34 with my old prop that has over a 1/4 in. Worn off and only run 31 with a brand new one . And his is even more of a loss. Anyone else had this problem? |

Hope so. Right now 3 people 1750 gator Trax I'm running 26-27 with stage 1. Seems slow to me I hope the prop will solve it! It measures 11 inches |

Light load just me i'm hitting 28-29. I understand that boat is narrow and doesn't hold weight very well. Guess I'll find out whenever my new wheel and brake pads come in |

Its anybody running the 3 blade on a stage 2 or 3? My barge will run about 27 right now stock. Not bad but falls off quick when people get in. Problem I see with it is that I can't even turn 4k rpms. Seems like it lugs or something. I'm fixing to mod my motor and was wondering if you when you got the power how fast it will run |

You'll get 30-31 maybe 32 with a stage 2 w/2 blade. Don't waste your money with a 3 blade if running stock. |

Borrow a 2 blade to see what it does. You'll gain about 100-200 rpms and it won't lug it down . |

^^^^ dead fowl 1954hd. Not the smallest boat in the world, but it would run 32-33 empty all day with the bps motor I had, I'm thinking as much prop as this 3 blade is , with a stage 3 it should haul some ass |

Post subject: | Re: Props for stage 1 gtr |
For anyone who wants to run the three blade on a stock motor, I've been testing them and found something that would work well if you have a stock motor. This change will run higher rpms, less tiller torque and less vibration. PM me for details. |
