Trying to fix my Tiller Torque
I installed a new big blade and my tiller torque got really bad. I checked out the other posts were txshockwave put on a wedge ( viewtopic.php?f=41&t=3299&p=34658&hilit=skeg#p34658 ) but I didn’t have a real problem before. I think I might of bent my skeg when changing the prop but do not know which way to bend it back my prop is sucking over to the port side throwing my handle to the starboard site and I feel like I am bench pressing the whole time. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you

Re: Trying to fix my Tiller Torque
If its pushing to the starboard side you bend the skeg to the port side.Try moving items in the boat around sometimes it is that easy, balance things out you can increase speed and ease tiller issues by moving stuff around.

Bend the skeg left... like dog walker said.

Re: Trying to fix my Tiller Torque
Just wanted to say thanks I tweaked my skeg to the port side and it worked no torque at all. All I did was put a crescent wrench and just made a very small adjustment like ¼” to ½” and that’s all it needed.
