Just got a 2014 36 pd short shaft put on my 06 pd boat. The last motor a 06 36 would randomly jerk in your hand and feel like it was missing. I thaught it was worn out. On my brand new 0 hour motor it does the same thing. It feels like you are lightly bumping a stump every 10 to 20 seconds in open water. Also my boat will plane out good, all of a sudden the handle will have a little pull to it and the nose will plow for a couple seconds the plane back out again repeatadly. Please help very frustrated!!!!

does it happened when trimmed down well below the surface? the small jerk happens on my mudbuddy and its just the nature of the briggs I believe

Trimming it in normal running position or below the surface it does it. It may be normall but I know the nose plowing then lifting back up is not normall. I'm going to bend the trim tab up a little bit and see how that does.

Talked to prodrive and believe we've got it narrowd down to a boat hull issue. Thanks

If its doing the same thing with 2 different motor than that only leave the boat.
