 PD gear oil? i just recenty upgraded to a pro drive and was wondering if you can over fill the gear oil reservoir? i drained it and filled it up until it was over flowing then squirted a little more and capped it really fast. so that none would run out, will it be ok?

Re: PD gear oil? Yea you will be good. When u fill from the back hole and u see it come out the front put ur plugs back in and you will be good to go.

Re: PD gear oil? ^ Correct, All depends on the year of the L/U. The old style (07-10 oil bath prop shaft) will require a little more oil and if you filled it from the top you may want to recheck it. It takes a while to drain down. New style 11-14 greased shafts and oil bath gears not an issue when filling.
