I have a Black Death 5500. My trim will work but it stops after a few seconds of working the trim. After it cools down I hear a click and it starts back working. I replaced both relays and that didn't help. I straight wired it and it works fine. Will it hurt to leave it straight wired? |

I had the same problem with mine back during the season. Changed out the circuit breaker for the trim and works just fine now. The circuit breakers go bad over time |

Circuit breaker.....it's a thermal reset, that's why it clicks and starts working. |

It's a relay in the handle. I just experience this. Brought it to the dealer. The mechanic brought me back to show me. Buy a couple of them for spare |
