I need to purchase a new prop for my '12 Prodrive 36hp. I see that you can purchase new ones from PD, but are there any other options available for "aftermarket" props? Any other advice or things I should consider before buying one is appreciated!

If you order one from Prodrive talk to your local prop guy get it sent direct. That way he can do a little needed TLC on it right from the get go.

There is the Cleaver...which in and of itself, is not a bad prop. But, just anticipate sending it somewhere to get the tapered hub machined down correctly....and then balanced. Hopkins does a less than desirable job on this which has resulted in some negative (and costly) results for some folks.
The 27 HP 3 blade is also an option which I have had good results with load carrying and speed.

Ultimately, whatever you get will probably have to be fine-tuned to suit your set-up, wants and needs....or get different props for different conditions.

Looks like something out of a Friday the 13th movie!

And yes.....it is threaded on the shaft with a tapered bushing. No room for the prop nut, though.

Most liberals seem to suffer from the same mental condition....it's called stupidity!
