I have a stage 2 gtr and even with 4 people in the boat and a fishing load I have to trim down a good bit to keep it under 4500 rpms by myself it's turning 4700 or so and cut out i guess it's hitting the Rev limiter. I'm running the 3 blade 10 pitch now. what prop would you suggest? |

Id suggest a 45 tooth lower. I have a stage 1 and by myself with the 48 lower i turn 45-4600 WOT. When i put the 45 on it knocked me down to 3900-4000. With the extra power you have you should be able to turn that gear a lot better than me and still tote a load. |

Did you pick up speed with the 45 tooth or just reduce rpms? |

Actually might have gained .5-1mph but it was obvious i couldnt turn it the way i needed to yet so i swapped back to my 48. Word of advice if you get the 45 tooth gear, pick up a bunch of shims. I think my motor was about 1/4" higher. |

Could run the hammer, it's a beast in reverse too. |

I also liked the hammer when i ran it. Fastest my boat has ever been though was with an 11 pitch gt 3 blade |
