What is it made out of ? I got a crack on it where you bolt it to your boat looks like the weld broke .
Just 5 hours on it ..

More info needed. Is it on trim unit its self or, or on the motor transom clamp? I couldn't get any information from MB Or BPS about trim unit parts. May be better off to have it rewelded rather than wait for an answer from them.

Looks to me like it is a lack of bracing on the transom, causing the transom to flex, also causing your motor mount to flex while its bolted, and it cracked right there.


I could be very off though.

That's steel, how old is that unit. I'd talk to your dealer, probally could welb. MB will take care of it, just get in touch with them.

That or the transom flexed binding that joint, causing a Crack.
