What is it made out of ? I got a crack on it where you bolt it to your boat looks like the weld broke . Just 5 hours on it .. |

More info needed. Is it on trim unit its self or, or on the motor transom clamp? I couldn't get any information from MB Or BPS about trim unit parts. May be better off to have it rewelded rather than wait for an answer from them. |

Looks to me like it is a lack of bracing on the transom, causing the transom to flex, also causing your motor mount to flex while its bolted, and it cracked right there. I could be very off though. |

That's steel, how old is that unit. I'd talk to your dealer, probally could welb. MB will take care of it, just get in touch with them. |

That or the transom flexed binding that joint, causing a Crack. |
