Post Hammer Prop
Has anyone tried getting a Hammer prop splined? Id be interested to see how it would perform with the gen 3 prodrives especially those with mods. How difficult would it be to have splines added to a hex shaft prop?

I've spoken to the guys at PD about the "new" 2 blade. They said I should expect to lose top end compared to my 3 blade but maybe gain low end. I was just looking for other possible options out there. I have two 3 blades, one is finally at the shop being worked after the dumbass USPS delivered my prop to my house instead of the shop address that clearly had "TO:" written in front of.

Props are are like ice cream...everyone wants a different flavor. What is good for one is not good for the next. Different people/boats equal different results and opinions.

Well I definitely haven't thrown a bunch of money at props and don't plan on it. It's gonna run what it's gonna run, just wish the splined drive had more options even just to play around with.

Had stock 3 blade for past two years and really just wanted a spare to keep in boat. Won the Prodrive EFI and while boat was there, I asked to have it run with my prop as well as the "new" 2 blade. Well it didn't get to be run with the two blade and I didn't want to wait any longer to go get it so I told em, don't worry about it. Ran boat with my stock prop and with the EFI and headwork, I picked up 2-3 mph depending on load.
Spoke to a few prop guys and wanted to send my prop off to get it back to like new condition maybe add a little cup. While prop was in transit, I found a guy selling a new stock 3 blade for $100 so I picked it up as my spare. Worked prop should be back on Friday so we'll see if it does any better.
