I am running a GT 11 pitch 3 blade but was hoping for a little more top end. What is everyone's experience with the two blade? I carry a lot of heavy loads as a rule so it has to be able to push a load not just a light boat |

I have a big heavy 1852 and had a 3blade 10p a d it didn't carry a load very well. I swapped to the gt 10p 2blade and it was 1.5mph faster with a light load and quiet a bit faster with 4 adults in it. It went through mud and vegetation better and reversed better. Only negative is it vibrates quiet a bit more. I have a 2015 carb motor stock besides k&n air and slight tinkering with carb. But if you do a search, some like the 3blade better. I would like to try a mb bb on it. |

The BB on mine was a little faster light but slower with a heavy load. Of course, we are talking a couple miles per hour in any direction so at times it seems fruitless lol |

Like someone said on another post, there is no 1 magic prop made "yet" that is the best for all applications. Power Tech is currently making a 4blade 9in prop for the guys who hunt the restricted marsh areas. 2 of the blades have a 9in diameter and the other 2 have only a 5in diameter, giving it the same surface area as a 12in 2blade prop making it superior to any prop previously made. They have the balancing problem almost solved and it may even be out this year... Cough, cough, bullshit, cough. Lol |
