I've got a rattle that I can't find and its only under load I have removed all the sheet metal on the engine clutch cover bearings feel alright ... Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem nothing is loose anywhere can't get it to do it out of water |

Inspect your lower unit bearings for play. Thrust and lateral. |

Did you check the muffler heat shield? |

Previous owner had just put a brand new stock muffler and I changed it out with a q no diff made and the lu I have engine off right now so no belt tension on bearing can't feel any slack but does gt use bushings or bearing s |

Not 100% sure how the clutch setup in on a GT. Maybe your clutch is rattling against the anti rotation bolt (worn down) if thats how GT setup works. |
