I am building a surface drive. I have a long tail right now. I will be using a 7 hp Honda clone and turning a 7x5 prop from hill marine. I am making it belt driven,1” wide xx duty belt. I’m not quite sure what gear ratio or tooth count gears to run.any help would be appreciated. Im goi g to search through the old posts on here as well.
